Furfamily-Gimp Attempt

My first practice try at Gimp 2's coloring, all credit for the line art drawing goes to

Mufuni- (Dark brown coat) She is the eldest daughter of Nisi and loves to lay around and day dream. Her mother sees no real harm in it but still worries about her future. Her father thinks she should get her head out of the clouds and start thinking like a future queen.

Nisi- (Dark golden coat) The Queen of the Valley pride and mother to Mufuni and Sarian. She loves her children dearly and wishes their father wasn't so hard on them when it comes to the politics of the pride. Nisi worries for her daughter and the fact that she has to take the throne until her younger brother is able.

Sarian- (Little cub)He doesn't like his fathers lessons and would rather play catch with his older cousin Jahila. He loves playing tricks on his sister who is always napping but hates when he's father scolds him for acting out of royal character.

Zaela- (Cream coat) An older childhood friend of Kairin (Father of Mufuni and Sarian) she knows how he can be and tried to act as a buffer when he scolds his kids and even his mate Nisi. She acts as the prides grandmother and loves everyone of them.

Kayli- (Golden coat cub)A cub found abandon under a tree is around the same age as Jahila. Zaela pleaded with Kairin to let her stay even though she was an outsider. With many days of persuasion she was allowed to stay as Zaela's adopted granddaughter. Being a very shy cub she is always hesitate to play with Mufuni and Jahila seeing as their bigger but she has made a friend in the playful Sarian.

Kasara- (Black coat) Her coat color is pitch black and very rare to see, she is the mother of Jahila and half sister of Nisi. She is always ill and very weak but can still pull her own weight when it is called for and mostly acts as the prides babysitter when the others are out hunting.

Jahila- (Grey coat cub) She is a very sweet little cub that worries for her mother when she is very weak and sometimes unable to stand. Her only wish in this world is for her mother to be around to see her own cubs grow up.
